2026 MDA Foundation Grant Recipients
This year the MDA Foundation was able to award $151,500 in access-to-care grants across the state with the focus of increasing healthcare access throughout Michigan through innovative charitable programs and services.
Adventist Medical Evangelist Network (AMEN)
- Kalamazoo, Mich.
A grant of $7,500 was awarded to support at least three free dental clinics across the state for underserved Michiganders.
Christ Church Cranbrook | Interfaith Dental Program
- Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
A three-year grant awarded at $10,000 each year to provide reimbursements for essential dental services for New Americans here in Michigan through the Interfaith Dental Program — additionally this grant will support the addition of a bookkeeper to this program.
Exalta Health
- Grand Rapids, Mich.
A grant of $10,000 for the purchase and installation of a new dental chair within the clinic as well as assisting with staffing costs for essential function.
Henry Ford Health | GROW Center
- Detroit, Mich.
A grant of $10,000 was awarded to help the GROW Center design and build an adaptive dental care model clinic for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Holland Free Health Clinic
- Holland, Mich.
A grant of $8,000 was awarded to support a new dental program coordinator within the clinic to help with essential function and staffing needs.
Hope Clinic
- Ypsilanti, Mich.
A grant of $10,000 was awarded to help expand and support prosthodontic and endodontic treatments for patients in need.
Love in Action
- Grand Haven, Mich.
A grant of $7,500 was awarded to help expand patient access through provider collaboration and coordination.
Shelter Association of Washtenaw County
- Ann Arbor, Mich.
A grant of $18,000 was awarded to continue to support the Oral Health Initiative as shelter clients pursue oral health treatment.
Trinity Community Care
- Shelby Township, Mich.
A grant of $10,000 was awarded to help support an existing Dental Coordinator role that was created due to increased capacity related to previous MDAF funding.
Victors for Veterans
- Brighton, Mich.
A grant of $30,000 was awarded to continue comprehensive oral healthcare for veterans that are disabled and/or below the federal poverty level.
Van Buren/Cass District Health Department
- Lawrence, Mich.
A grant of $19,500 was awarded to help in the replacement of 10+ year old vacuum and compressor systems at their Lawrence and Dowagiac health clinics.
VINA Clinic
- Brighton, Mich.
A grant of $7,500 was awarded to assist with a variety of needs within the clinic including wages for clinical and support staff, operational supplies, patient communication resources and more.
Volunteer for Dental
- Muskegon, Mich.
A grant of $10,000 was awarded to continue supporting the role of program assistant within the clinic – an essential position that maintains day-to-day operations within V4D and manages community outreach.
